Nigerians have taken to the popular micro-blogging social platform

to drop unpleasant reactions following the video of Nigeria's Senate against increasing electricity tariff.

We learnt on Tuesday, July 25, that Senate appealed to the Federal Government to consider the poor masses and reject the planned electricity tariff increase by eleven successor electricity distribution companies (DISCOS).

The Upper Chamber further asked NERC to explore alternative measures to address the financial challenges faced by the Discos, such as improving operational efficiency, reducing technical and commercial losses, and enhancing revenue collection mechanisms.

But so unfortunate that the video has been termed a mockery meeting against the poor masses as the Senate was seen laughing.
